This week Kevin and Josh welcome back returning guest Merle Jones, public relations director for Michigan trappers and predator callers association (MTPCA). We start off by discussing some recent hunts, including the SPI and GLRPC tournaments, how the conditions were less than ideal, yet the results for the GLRPC were really good, while the SPI was more subdued. We also talk about field experiences with the new FREQ game call, both Merle and Kevin have been using it in the field, and their thoughts so far. Merle then fills us in on recent potential rule changes for predator hunters, if you hunt the limited rifle zone you will want to hear this! Then we talk more about public perception, how it has been brought up from a legislative perspective, and how it CAN effect our rights as hunters, what YOU can do about it, and what we ALL need to do about it.
