I was able to be in a tree 3 times the last 36 hours. Halloween morning as well as the entire day of November 1st. I find myself struggling chasing trail cameras and scouting less, but I need to make a change to that system. I know where some doe have been using every morning, and I have tried to use that to my advantage, but a mistake in my setup in the morning of Nov 1 may have ruined my chance at a solid buck, but we will never know. Scrape activity the last 2 days has appeared to drop, deer are still crossing by them but not re opening them. Did hear some chasing tonight right at last light, and had one come in as I was packing up my gear after the hunt, but I don't know what it was. Tomorrow I think will be the coldest morning all week, so I may be packing a lunch and sitting later depending on movement I have seen. I plan to go hunt another section where I do have cameras, but won't be near them so I can break my bad habit. I know there are deer in this section but I haven't narrowed them down yet. I guess that is the story of all the spots I hunt though. I will check in again tomorrow night, unless something keeps me out extra late! Thank you all for listening!
